Restoration and Resilience The Journey of the Overcomer

I confess—I get absolutely caught up in reels and short stories where conflict plays out between people. I’ve always loved transformation stories: the ugly duckling becoming a swan, the girl once overlooked blossoming into beauty, or the beast softened into tender masculinity by the love of another.

But lately, I’m most drawn to storylines where humble, honest love gets trampled by the arrogant and self-appointed elite. And in the end—justice comes. Wrongs are made right, the humble are lifted, and the prideful are brought low. The good guys win.

I asked the Lord why these plots fascinate me so deeply. His answer was simple: because these stories reveal His truth about Himself and His children.

Joseph’s Vindication

Joseph’s jealous brothers sold him into slavery, yet he never abandoned integrity. What man meant for evil, God used for good—not only vindicating Joseph but providing for his entire family.

David’s Exaltation

David was dismissed as insignificant—even by his own father. He ran for his life because of Saul’s jealousy. Yet it was God, not man, who lifted David from hiding to the throne.

The Greatest Story of All

And then there is Jesus. Born into poverty, mocked, misunderstood, and scorned by the powerful. His quiet humility infuriated the elite, yet He never wavered or retaliated. His humility carried Him to the cross. His love held Him there. And His resurrection declared once and for all who He truly is.

The enemy laughed too soon. Three days later, the empty grave showed that every scheme of darkness had already failed.

Our Vindication

All of these stories were written for us. We are the benefactors of His strength through humility, His confidence through weakness, His righteousness for our heaviness. Every wrong, every dismissal, every injustice—will bow to His glory.

So persevere, my friends. Humble yourself before the Lord. Stay in position. Receive His joy. Share His victory.

You are the remnant restored!!
