Have you ever felt like your strength wasn’t enough? Like no matter how hard you tried, the weeds kept growing back in your life? Proverbs 24:5 (TPT) reminds us: “Wisdom can make anyone into a mighty warrior, and revelation-knowledge increases strength.”
Wisdom Builds and Protects
Wisdom isn’t just about what we know—it makes us builders and protectors. God’s wisdom can reposition our hearts when we yield to Him. He prepares us for the days ahead. He releases strategies that bring healing—not just to us, but to whole communities of believers. His Word becomes a hidden treasure, sweeter than anything the world can offer.
Rising Again with Courage
We all face seasons of adversity. They don’t feel good in the moment, but God uses them to strengthen us. Even when we stumble, His hand rescues us. Long before we realize it, His angels are guarding our steps, keeping us from falling beyond recovery.
Maybe you’ve been there—knocked down, but given courage to rise again. That’s the anointing of God at work in you: to rise, and rise again, with compassion and courage.
Wisdom Invites us to Remember
But wisdom also calls us to remember who we are and what we’ve been entrusted with. It’s not enough to say, “I love You, Lord,” while withholding truth or remaining silent when a warning is needed. Love without truth is just noise—a clanging cymbal.
Like Daniel, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, we must refuse the world’s table and keep our hearts reserved for God’s.
The Garden of the Heart
Wisdom is revealed in how we tend our hearts. I’ve learned this through my own garden. One year, after planting my garden, I slacked off. I neglected the weeds when they first appeared. At first it seemed small, but soon the weeds multiplied until the work was overwhelming.
Our hearts are no different. Neglect the small weeds—bitterness, distractions, compromise—and they quickly take over. But when wisdom tends the soil of our hearts, the garden thrives.

Wisdom Tends
Friend, wisdom is not just knowing. Wisdom is tending.
Tend your heart. Pull up the weeds early. Let God’s wisdom strengthen you as both warrior and builder. Then you’ll rise with courage, compassion, and a clear sense of your kingdom assignment.
